When you translate documents using Doco Translate:

3.2 Third-Party Translation Services

Doco Translate integrates with third-party translation services to provide translation functionality. When you use these services, your text content is transmitted directly to these third-party providers for processing. 3.3 Local Processing

The following features operate entirely on your device:

  • Local translation models
  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) for image text extraction
  • Layout detection and document parsing
  • Glossary management
  • All application settings and preferences

4. Local Data Storage

Doco Translate stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Application Preferences: Your language settings, theme preferences, and translation options
  • Glossary Data: Custom glossary entries you create for translation consistency
  • Document History: References to recently opened documents (file paths only)

This data is stored using Apple's standard data storage mechanisms and remains on your device. You can delete this data at any time by removing the application.

5. Subscription and Payments

Doco Translate Pro subscription is handled entirely through Apple's App Store:

  • All payment processing is managed by Apple
  • We do not collect or have access to your payment information
  • Subscription status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework

6. Children's Privacy

Doco Translate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe that a child has provided information through our application, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

  • All communications with third-party translation services use encrypted HTTPS connections
  • Local data is stored using Apple's secure storage mechanisms
  • The application runs in Apple's sandboxed environment for enhanced security

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our systems. However, you can:

  • Delete the application to remove all locally stored data
  • Manage your subscription through Apple's App Store settings
