The following sections cover common problems you may encounter while using Doco Translate.

Google Translate Is Unavailable

Network restrictions prevent Google Translate from working in some countries and regions. If the service is unavailable, switch to another translation service.

Apple Translate Is Unavailable

Apple Translate is usually unavailable because the required system language pack has not been downloaded. Open Settings → Services → Apple Translate, download the source and target language packs, then translate again.

Translation Failed: Content Mismatch

If an AI service repeatedly fails to translate a page and reports that the translated result does not match the original content, the selected model may not be capable enough for the task.

When translating a page, the number of text segments in the input and output must match so Doco Translate can reconstruct the layout correctly. Smaller models may not follow this format reliably and can produce a content mismatch.

For an affected page, switch to another translation engine and try again.

The Translated Layout Is Incorrect

Doco Translate continuously improves its parsing and layout engines, but no parser can guarantee perfect results for every document. If you encounter a layout problem, please report it through Contact Us to help us improve Doco Translate.
